Handwoven from Shu Brocade, a national-level intangible cultural heritage of China.
Twelve lustrous koi fish form a circular, converging motif. The intricate jacquard weave captures every delicate scale and fin, revealing a sumptuous silk texture and rich layers of colour.
The twelve koi correspond to the twelve months of the year, symbolising abundance and surplus month after month. The fish gathering toward the centre signify blessings in motion, family harmony and good fortune throughout the four seasons.
A refined hanging piece for the entryway, living room or tea room — an elegant home accent and a gift rich in cultural meaning.
